Any tips on how to stop your dachshund from crying in the crate and won’t stop crying? He’s stressing me out and he’s only 10 weeks old. When I put him in the crate to let myself eat he would cry and whine until I let him out. And I don’t know what to do. He’s stressing me out and I have no idea what to do about this.

my problem is when my puppy is napping or sleeping and I move away to take time for my self, nap, read a book play on my switch or anything he starts whining he just knows im not near him and won't stop till he can see me or be near me. maybe its just him being in a new house vut I just need a nap im so tired

Took home my 8 week pup today. She immediately bonded with me and I cannot leave her for 2 seconds. Currently 3am and can’t sleep because she’s crying in her crate in the other room. Tell me she’s fine 🥹

Remember that YOU have needs, too ❤️🩹 check in with yourself when your puppy is sleeping (and they need A LOT of it, up to 18 hours!)

This is so helpful! It’s so refreshing to see people talking about “puppy blues” as being more than hating or regretting your puppy. My puppy wasn’t super crazy or high energy- he was (and is still) just very needy and my “blues” were more so puppy anxiety about doing the wrong things or him getting hurt. I loved him right away, but he made me so extremely anxious 😂

I feel like I really dislike the term puppy blues. Yes having a puppy is hard but it shouldn’t be hard to remeber that they are just BABIES. Everything is new to them and they are LEARNING

Im on day 2 of picking up our whippet puppy and i am drowning in puppy blues 😭😭 my anxiety is through the roof, cant eat either, even tho he is such a good boy, sleeping through the night, potty outside and not bity, but i feel like im dying from the adjustment and change of daily routine 😭

Literally needed this today 😭 My puppy woke up today and picked violence as the mood for the day. I literally had to put her in her crate and step away. It was task putting her in her crate because I don’t want her to associate her crate with punishment, lots of sweet talking and treats.

our pup is so nervous outside, he never goes potty until we're back inside. We try to stop him mid-potty to get him outside, we tried a patch of grass (don't have a garden), but nothing helps. he's just constantly overstimulated outside.
