Smellie Kellie :

Ai is gonna take over this job 100%

erwinsox :

I would be a court reporter just for the tea tbh

midnght.rain :

My mom was a stenographer. It did not pay like a dream. It was considered self employed, so sure she got to choose which days she worked, but there are strict timelines for the turnaround on transcripts and often long hours/days.

styleholics :

and what it means "pays like a dream" ?

Lexi :

I love how people comment such negativity on something they have no idea about. I’m a court reporter for 30 years. It’s extremely difficult but extremely lucrative. It’s a wonderful career if you can handle it. You have to be a unicorn of sorts. Kudos to all the reporters!! We are rock stars!!

Zrky :

Learning stenography while not knowing how to touch type is the flex that you think it is

TannieSlayer :

pays like a dream where 😭

Savy stins :

This is a work from home job?

mmmkahp🍉 :

I'm in my 180 speeds!

Loki ⟭⟬ ⊙⊝⊜ 𝐒𝐔𝐆𝐀 ⁷⟬⟭ ⎊ :

Wait as in the people who record everything that is going on during trials and hearings 😭😭

steph05512 :

It’s not easy to ge into court reporting. It requires around 2 years of schooling plus you have to take tests to get certified as well as do service hours. It’s not easy to do if you need to go to school and work full time to pay your bills.

xxgaris :

Can I do this remote at home though?

archie_721 :

𒆜 خاموش روح 𒆜 :

Are you court reporter? and from which country?

madi pickrem :

What even is it?

CrystalSantana24 :

What is it?

Ina.R :

how please ? What's this about ? I'm actually broke 😔

Lexi :

Amazing job. I’m 30 years in and not many know the money rhat can be made

🤞 :

on average all stenographers make around 80-90K. 1.6K-1.8K a week , take away tax you end up with 1.3K-1.5K. Don’t sound worth it

monalizard :

that's cool but you need to have a speed of 400 symbols per minute+ blind method.at least in the vacancies that I looked up, and I'm a person who types with two fingers 😅. I could neverrrrr learn the bilnd method and 400 symbols per minute is insane speed to me 😩🤌🏻

Mercedes :

Thanks to you I am officially enrolling in school for this ✨ it’s not even just about the money it’s something I actually think I can take time to learn I’m really excited

Heather :

How do we get started?

Adrian Christian Hernandez, A :

Can I ask what your annual salary is? I want to get into this because it’s flexible and has a lot of time working at home but I just don’t know how much I could get paid because I’ve searched it up and get vastly different answers.

M💚 safi :

And girls who chose career over their bf I choose

banana :

I’m not sure it pays like a dream everywhere but police dispatchers. It’s a double edged sword of a career sometimes but it’s damn near unlimited OT if you get in the right dept and since it’s public safety, it guaranteed (or near) job security. I can’t complain. I get paid extremely well to do very little well. This comes after being paid extremely little to do a lot. I’m very fortunate 🥰
