When I was a kid my aunt and uncle had hoses show hoses quarter horses and barrel hoses well one of the mares had a baby male horse I named it Gabe my aunt turned it in to a barrel horse after a while I couldn’t ride it for that reason it was strictly a barrel horse, my aunt raced it had tons of trophies and ribbons and belt buckles well one day Gabe was in the barn with the other horses eating one of the other kicked Gabe and lamed it couldn’t ride him or anything so it just lived out his life on the ranch didn’t wanna put him down so he had a wonderful life living on the ranch/farm i couldn’t ride Gabe but every time I yelled for him he would come right to me 🥰🥹🥹🥹 I’m 57 now and still miss him 🥲🥲🥲
