I was just looking for a pedicab to take me home when I noticed this particular one. At first, I thought there was a passenger sitting in front. But when I looked closely, I realized it wasn’t a passenger at all, it was a baby, peacefully sleeping in a stroller. 🥺 My heart honestly ached the moment I saw the baby. I couldn’t help but think about how hard the father must be working, trying to earn enough to support and provide for his little one. While his baby was sleeping, he was out there, waiting for passengers and doing everything he could to make a living. Mao to nga niingon ko, “Kuya, pakyawon nako ang whole pedicab para makauli na pud mo.” The moment he sighed in relief, I felt something in my heart. It may have only been one ride for me, but perhaps it meant that he could go home a little earlier and spend the rest of the night with his baby. Luoy kaayo jud ang bata, and honestly, I couldn’t stop looking at him until I got home. Sometimes, we encounter people who remind us that we may never fully know what others are going through. A small act of kindness may seem ordinary to us, but to someone who is struggling, it could mean a moment of relief. May we always choose kindness whenever we can. Because sometimes, helping someone get home is more than just giving them a ride, it is giving them a little time to go home to the people they are working so hard for. P.S. I asked permission from the father first before taking/posting this video. 🤍 #fyp #foryou
