Is a battle, trying to quiet the voices in my head at night. Our sweet little girl is 34 weeks today! She’ll be officially a month old on Sunday 💕 she’s makin so much progress in the NICU She’s no longer “apart” of the ICU portion of the NICU shes in the nursery. She has her eye examined today we are waiting for thoes results now. She also took her first bottle today she drank 15ml out of 37ml shes getting 37ml every 3 hours by feeding tube and when she’s giving hunger cues they will try and give her some in a bottle. We are still learning how to drink from a bottle so slow steady progress. She’s also been trying hard to learn how to breast feed as well. She got off oxygen and is now on room air for 3 days Breathing perfectly normal on her own without any assistance She’s 4lb 2oz she’s growing well and meeting all the doctors expectations thus far! Once she’s 5 pounds we will talk more about discharge and what’s next for Elizabeth. Right now her goals are learn to breast feed, drink from a bottle, and gain weight We are still staying at the Ronald McDonald housing. They are now giving me an option to store milk in their freezers because of how much I’m making. I’m making about 50oz per day and Ellie is getting 10oz total per day. Once we get home we are going to need to buy a deep freezer! I have filled 3 bins at the hospital and took milk to Redding yesterday and have filled my freezer door to the MAX lol due to the large amount I’m making I’m donating milk to the Bodie family this next week to help with his surgery. This is all I have to update on now. Soon we i have more to share we will!
