Do the 8 am classes!!! I was done with classes for the day when my friends woke up for class. If you're cold, put on a coat and drink coffee! Set boundaries, maintain a healthy study routine, and have safe fun. Everyone is not there for you or education. The ones that stay in your life were at college for business 1st! Trust me, I studied hard and had A LOT of fun❤️

I will add one thing to let you have a great end to your college career. Save ALL of your human/social electives until your last semester. I took scuba, music appreciation, etc. my last semester. No stress, just fun.

Went from honor student in small school to struggling C and D student in large university. Shock and depression took me to the edge. I didn't know where to turn for help before I dropped out. Found out the hard way college is not for everyone. TOO MUCH!!

3 things I asked my daughter every time she called her freshman year from the struggle bus: did you drink water today? Did you take a nap? Have you eaten a vegetable. If you do all three- you will make it!!

Erin, that’s a lot of stress and I remember those days after trial and error. Be mindful College is not for everyone, I got my BS, and PhD, and had a successful career in the Army National guard, served in Afghanistan 2002-2003, and was just blessed.

In the first week 1- make a friend in each class that you can partner with 2- write down ever deadline date, test , exam date fir all your classes, in one calender, and keep it up to date 3-take morning classes as much as you can and leave the afternoons for completing homework, and working on deliverables 4-make a plan so that in the next 3 weeks, every one of your profs knows your name (for good things)

I tell my daughter this things... all of my other kids(my nephews and nieces) listened... but this princess does not. Hopefully she'll take these good advice coming not from me but you. Goodluck to you. be positive. look forward only
