They were not “banned” to hide the truth. The early Church used strict criteria apostolic origin, consistency with the faith, and widespread use in worship. •The Book of Wisdom and Baruch are NOT banned, they are actually in the Catholic Bible as part of the Deuterocanon. •The Church did not remove these books to control knowledge; it preserved what was authentically inspired and apostolic.

Before anyone comments or puts down any book, research it. Hint, Book of Enoch was discovered or known to exist in the Ethiopic Ge'ez language after being brought to Europe from Ethiopia in the late 18th. Not thousands of years ago. But, these “three” books were highly debatably. If you study them closely, only the first Book of Enoch is the true prophetic word of God. In my opinion, my faith, I stand behind this.
