and it helps protect us educators. we dont have a union but in a way that is ours. it helps students in college who are going to be teachers, get certain loans that help them have less debt after. it does so many things. and the biggest is it protects and helps distribute funding properly to public schools.

As a teacher, I just lost my job due to this. So many federal budget cuts led to my school not being able to afford to keep all its staff.

I cannot believe this! As a former elementary school principal from Fresno California I sm absolutely in shock! Our children are our future. We needed mire funding not less! This will create an even bigger divide.

Since the department of education was formed students test scores have gone down. They suck money from the schools to pay themselves and redistribute what is left based on rules they set. They will not be missed.
