personal story. I fell in love with this musical when my mom passed away. She was locally famous for being a state fair pie baker and was even on The View for her pies!. I can't hear songs from this musical without ugly crying... that being said. If you wanted to, sing me a little snip of your favorite part... it would make my whole day. 🥰

I hate that THE MOMENT I feel any type of big emotion on stage I can feel the lump/tension in my throat and then I’m stuck really focusing on breathe and placement and make it through the performance. Catch me back stage dancing and shaking it out trying to gain the focus needed to make it through it 👌🏻

Cried with you during the show on 7/13. I also had chills during opening up and soft place to land with all the voices harmonizing together, so beautiful. Hope you enjoy upstate NY!

I can get really moved/ emotional when singing, and my throat just chokes up. I have never been able to sing through that throat closing 🥺
