It is not essential oil. The oil of oregano and oregano essential oil are two separate things and should not be mistaken for each other.

Or you can just make your own like us Greeks do as that’s where this originates from - dried wild oregano put into cold pressed evoo in a glass container, dark space for 2-3 weeks. You have the oil.

But it’s not. Oil of Oregano is made by extracting oregano leaf in oil. Not by putting oregano essential oil in olive (or other) oil.

The amount of comments arguing that your statement is wrong is disturbing. Oil of Oregano is a concentrated extract and or eso.. The terminology is definitely lost and the confusion is real. I watched your other videos explaining in more depth and to see people still arguing is just mind blowing. Anyone can make Oregano oil or any herbal oil for that matter. But the process to extract the volatile oils from this plant are far more extensive then just putting the plant in oil. Thank you for putting this on blast. You are 100% correct to explain this. I am alwasy educating my clients in similar fashion. Yes it works. but it can aslo cause issues as it will literally burn the mucosal lining.

It's definitely not essential oil. You can't ingest essential oil. It's an oil extraction which is much different. It is strong, but is not harmful.

So I just googled it and I feel like I have been misled. All the comments saying this is not true- oil of oregano is just oregano in olive oil.. well it’s supposed to be. But my trusted brand I just found out is oregano essential oil diluted in evoo. It’s false marketing, because EO’s should not be consumed and are harmful internally
