As someone who delivers for Amazon we do get instructions to toss over the fence. I usually try my best to place it over the fence but if the fence is taller than me it gets tossed

Amazon threw mine over the gate instead of the door or mailbox.. no one gave Amazon permission to throw it out onto the grass.. A phone has to be signed for.

if the gate has openings, I try to drop it down hand under hand so it doesn't fall directly down. if I hear it fall harder than expected, i loudly say "sorry"

Actually I have to disagree with Judge Judy on those one. I had someone direct me to throw their package over the gate. My heart stopped when I heard glass breaking.

THEM PACKAGES GET TOSSED AND THROWN BEFORE IT GETS TO DELIVERY DRIVERS. ALSO IT SAYS ON PACKAGES (MAYBE YALL SHOULD READ AT THE TOP) CARRIER LEAVE IF NO RESPONSE EVERY PACKAGE WILL GET LEFT
