I was just diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and hear this often. While I understand there are much more aggressive, critical cancers out there, I had a hard time feeling “thankful”

I have thyroid cancer that got bored and moved into my lungs, 4 tumours of minimal size but the worry is overwhelming 😱, no cancer diagnosis is easy

Was diagnosed with CML and was told its a good cancer. While there is no good cancer, certainly cancers that are treatable are better

I was told I was so lucky after non oncology surgeons spilled ovarian cancer inside my body, never mind I was 20+ years younger than the majority of the patients. NED 6 years later but doubt I’ll see 62.

lol my guys doctor said my guys stage 3b adenocarcinoma non small cell lung cancer was the less aggressive kind...stage 4 at the start of treatment the next month,grew and spread everywhere,had 1 brain lesion when brain radiation started and over 21 lesions after the 3rd one. I love a brutally honest doctor. they need to stop sugar coating things,giving people hope when they know there isn't any. tell them to get their affairs legally set

When the surgeon called me with my bx results he said “I’m sorry you have cancer”. I started crying and he goes “no this is good! It’s a good one! I thought it was a lot worse”

100%! My MIL was told she had the best case scenario cancer, but she still had surgery and radiation! And I have stage 4 cancer….. I’m never going to compare it’s all terrible!

Ask the Dr, if they had they cancer would they still say "at least it's the good kind of cancer"? I asked, he put his head down and said "no". Why say it to patients then? It's disrespectful 🥺

I was diagnosed with NH diffuse large B cell lymphoma. Oncologist said “it’s the easiest cancer to fight” 8 months later, one perforated colon, colectomy, failed RCHOP, and CAR-T cell therapy trial later I’m still not in remission 😂😩

I love my ONC but when she told me I had the good and best leukemia you could have I wanted to scream… nothing about cancer is good.

Went to a hematologist. Told me i had LGL Leukemia. He said its not like it will be make you look sickly. Though blood was just over high level and decided for marrow biopsy. Nothing. Thats all great but really? Oh. We'll check it next year
