Kealoha Hawaiian BBQ at 16th and Welton is also AMAZING. Not far from Ohana, but a more limited menu because they're in one of those little matchbox stands on the street corner.

Doesn’t look or sound authentic at all. Just a concept of what somebody thinks my own food should be. Having lived there for over eight years, nothing compares to eating the real thing.

Ohana was one of the first places I tried when I moved to Denver 5 years ago from the east coast and it blew me away with how good it was. Best poke I’ve ever had and that Kailua pork and Mac salad are perfect. I can’t wait to try it again when I go back to Denver.
