@ashleyjames: Why are we so quick to excuse dangerous men—and so quick to condemn women who do far less? In just the last month: ✨Elon Musk claimed Trump was on the Epstein list. ✨Republicans voted not to release that list (shock) ✨Diddy was acquitted of the most serious charges and people celebrated outside the court - even after we all saw that video of him beating Cassie. ✨Chris Brown is still selling out arenas. ✨Stephen Bear is playing the victim to support. ✨And Johnny Depp is back on pedestals, despite admitting to headbutting Amber and joking about her corpse. Meanwhile, women are mocked, doubted, dragged through the mud for speaking up. Even in our court systems. We’re told to report abuse, but look at what happens when we do. It’s not surprising so few cases make it to trial. Society is more outraged by the idea that a woman might lie than by the men who actually harm us. What’s the incentive for men not to harm women when they still get record deals, film roles, talk show spots—and even White House invites? (Looking at you, Conor McGregor.) We can’t claim to care about women’s safety and keep applauding abusers. And it’s even more disappointing when women excuse and justify the behaviour. We need to do better collectively. ❤️ #fyp

Constructive criticism :
The media create famous people and then have to destroy them . It’s simple fame = power . They believe they are bullet proof

the sad thing is that all the prosecution team were women and he wasn't found not guilty of assault, they didn't charge him with it, I'll never understand that but I guarantee if they were men prosecuting Diddy it would be a story and quite right to. Depp and Heard were just two broken people who became toxic together, it's 6 of one...

It’s absolutely ridiculous. Men getting away with serious crimes against women . It’s terrible here in belfast with violence against women and lenient sentences

Cassie to payment to keep shut about the footage of the assault in the hotel. That’s why the case didn’t come up

Very well said! I agree that we have normalised male violence. Keep doing what you are doing.
