Actually, the first turns, either going first or second, you don’t have to attached Don to your leader because you don’t have Don on your field. After those turns, you must attached 1 on your refresh phase, until you have your full 10 Don on your field. At this point you don’t add any Don from your Don deck so the effect won’t activate.

I feel like Magellan SR is gonna come in clutch against this leader lol. You can mess up their leader power by playing a Magellan the turn they get to 10 don lol.
