@dryarchive: Namennayo, also known as Nameneko, is a brand of cat photography founded in the early 1980s by Japanese photographer, Satoru Tsuda. Tsuda's photographs feature living cats dressed in miniature clothing and arranged in adorable cat-sized dioramas. The first Namennayo pictures showed the kittens participating in typical juvenile delinquent behavior, including smoking in school bathrooms, rolling out in motorcycle gangs, and playing in high-stakes battle of the bands tournaments. The kittens were modeled after typical teenage rebels and the name "Namenayo" means "Don't lick me!"
