soul food is #4, it lacks the range of flavors the caribbean has. DR #3. Haiti #2 even tho they do have the best rice. Jamaica #1 of course the variety of flavors and skill they have is unmatched.

I wish for Caribbean American as well as Americans, to learn more about other Caribbean islands and their differences as well as similarities because this would not be your choice in terms of top diaspora foods. This is just what you know. Also leaving out the South America portion of the diaspora is crazy work, but what do I know 🤷🏾♀️

I’m sorry but soul food can never compare to Jamaican food. That’s a fact I’m sorry this list is no good. We have so many dishes you can’t even count. Soul food is just a thing of the south really not the whole America.

Sorry but Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 would be #1. Those other 3 Caribbean islands do not have the range, diversity, flavor profiles, fusion and simply variety that 🇹🇹 food has. And 🇺🇸 food is no way compared to 🇹🇹 food when it comes to flavor and spice level.
