@peopleandplaces: The UK has seen a huge decline in Pubs over the years. These community assets are being lost, with gentrification, rising costs and changing driving habits potentially having an impact. How often are you going to the pub? Any #LondonPubs #BritishPubs #HistoricLondonBars #ThingstodoLondon #BritishHistoryExplained #Brittania
First off, speaking as someone who has previously run and had a full insight into pubs, clubs and cocktail venues financials; it isn’t that. Diversification can impact, but when an average rental fee from the council brings an increase of 6k per month for a central Shoreditch venue, increased spirit duties, increased employee national insurance, pandemic debt from company accounts, stricter licensing laws and gentrification in aid of expensive living spaces price us out: it’s the government that represents us. I’m tired of this narrative that it’s someone who’s come on a boat when the elected officials are using them as a scapegoat

Jorgin4🙈 :
Their is no one to go in it, practically a Muslim country now because people are to scared in being called a name then to fight in what they believe in. A small amount of global help soon turns into global takeovers and the only people to blame is the British for letting it happen ancestors would be turning in their graves because they wouldn’t have had it
