Also those with insulin resistant PCOS are also at risk for type 2. My mom has PCOS and is type 2.

I found out I have T2D 2 days ago, had to go for a blood test twice this week and all of my symptoms point towards PCOS 💔

I am 4'7 and I fluctuated between 90-95 pounds and got bloodwork stating I was on my way to being a pre-diabetic.I changed my diet and lost some weight, but I never thought I would be considered at risk for that at all. my numbers are down. it just goes to show weight is not the only contributing factor.

I’m genetically predisposed to diabetes, got diagnosed with type 2. I control mainly with diet and exercise but sometimes it spikes or suddenly bottoms out.

I don’t know what’s happened in the last 5 years (I do. It’s covid brain damage) that’s made people act so mean with their whole chest. Not a single living human deserves to suffer, even if it’s “their fault.”

as a sleep tech im here to mention that type 2 diabetes can be caused by far more than excess weight and has even been shown that it can be negatively affected by sleep apnea and other sleep disorders

my dad was on steroids his entire childhood and developed type 2 diabetes in his 20s. its not his fault and i hate when people insinuate type 2 sufferers (or anyone with any disease) deserve their suffering. i have an even worse diet than my dad, and i dont have diabetes. he just got unlucky
