I dropped her off at her place after the movies. I said, “we should do this again sometime soon,” as we hugged. She laughed and agreed. I watched her walk up her gravel driveway and into her house before I drove off…. and then she took her life and I never saw her again. Maybe whenever she is, we can go to the movies again. There are a lot of things I want to show her. I’m sure she’ll like them.

pretty sure we hugged the last time we saw each other as well. but i had the unfortunate part of attending his funeral, we were supposed to hangout since he wasn’t in the city for some time. i also found out from a mutual friends story. sending hugs to everyone <3

I went to Seattle to go watch my 2 friends who are brothers graduate recently…another one of my very good friends was very excited to see me (I used to live there so a lot of people wanted to see my anyway). I was with him and everything was great that day, but he kept saying “you got me?” And ofc I responded and said yeah, of course I got him. He’s one of my best friends yk? We were very intoxicated so I just assumed he was just being sentimental or what not 😭😭 but everytime he would ask me and I respond he would say “I gotchu bro, I gotchu” as he was tapping my chest. The next day I was with this girl and I dropped her off, and a few minutes after that she calls me and she’s balling her eyes out, and she tells me her god brother took his life, and she says his name. Her brother was My friend who I was just with the day before. I couldn’t even cry about it and I still haven’t yet. But my heart is torn, I’ve lost a lot of my childhood friends and it sucks. A lot of us weren’t innocent, gangs and violence was all we knew growing up, and that’s the downside of it. But this one hurt a little different. I wish I could’ve stopped him or at least talked to him one more time, it still hasn’t even registered in my head he’s actually gone…sorry for this long ass comment😭😭 but Always check on your friends. Mental Health matters more than we think 🤞🏾

In June my bsf called me and we had so much fun playing and doing random stuff, she then ranted about her bully’s from school. Saying they were making fun of her again. I told her I would do anything to help her. She said “ay don’t worry about it just keep focusing on yourself. I could deal with this” I said okay but then her mom called her downstairs. That was the last ever call from her. She died 7/7/25

We buried my cousin on march 29 2025 on Friday my bsf was telling me sorry if u ever need anything u know im here not knowing that was going to be the last conversation with her she passed the same night in a car crash :(
