I’m having a mental breakdown because I’m dumb as f*ck and forgot to sign up for the admission tests… I’m not British so they never had a warning or anything I’m so pissed at myself. Usually I always look up everything months in advance and that I just forgot….

As someone with a STEM degree from oxbridge the step up in difficulty from school was insane. If you didn’t find A-levels easy then you will not have a good experience. Maybe in arts subjects it’s different?

At the end of the day, Oxford & Cambridge are two of the world’s most prestigious educational establishments, and it’s inevitable - and right - that people will require very good grades to gain admittance – quite apart from displaying a passion for their subject.
