Pan handlers tend to make more money in a day asking everyone they see for a dollar than most people make at a minimum wage 9-5. My dad once told me that the town/city he grew up in had all these homeless people who he used to talk to. One of them told him that if he asks every single person he sees for just $1 and maybe only half of the people give him one, he was still making $200-$500 a day. And the only "work" he put in was walking around. Plus they don't pay any taxes on that money nor do they have any bills to pay because they're homeless. They don't want a job because no basic minimum wage job you could offer them will make them more money than being a panhandler in a densely populated area. While other jobs have us over here doing more work for less pay they're doing no work for all of their pay.
