Don’t put them on until you’ve finished all the painting / top coat. Or, if you do, leave the screws and socket / switch away from the wall so you can paint without cutting around them

Plain white is cheap for a reason, it looks cheap and boring! Almost all of ours are black nickel and they compliment the rooms so well (we have black in our black bedroom and office)
