Our college had a required course for first year on how to study, take notes, memorize etc. I wish I had had it in high school.

My community college has a required course called “learning frameworks” that teaches various study methods and note taking techniques. It was very helpful since I’m back in college in my 30s.

high school was easy for me so I never had to properly learn how to study which definitely hurt me in college. I struggled for the first time in school during my freshman year and it made me lose confidence in myself for a while.

This is an amazing idea! I’m a HS sci. teacher in MD. I was taught how to study in middle school but I don’t think it’s part of curriculum in MD anymore. Would u mind sharing with me?
