I work there and the chicken just isn't good. On top of that, we're only allowed to cook 6 in a basket and can't put another basket in the same bag for 30 seconds. People don't follow that and sometimes put two baskets of 12 in one vat. I think if the chicken is raw it's because the procedure isn't being followed. Very glad we don't have to cut the chicken like we used to, but I just wish they hadn't brought it back to be completely honest

no ... what's happening is some McDonald's maybe putting to many down at a time to try to keep up with demand it takes 6 and a half minutes to cook the strips and you can only put 6 down to cook at a time

I work there. It’s cooked from frozen. If they’re getting it raw it’s been cooked on the wrong timer. Nuggets, McChicken, McCrispy patties and the McCrispy Strips each have their own timer. If you drop strips in the oil and push the timer for McChicken or Nuggets then they aren’t going to get done.

The strips are cooked in their own baskets they are a higher temperature than the mccrispy chicken although they cook about the same amount of time the strips are cooked at a higher temperature than the mccrispy chicken and nuggets as well as mcchicken and fish. If they’re raw like someone else said they are being cooked on the wrong timers and in the wrong oil. It does slow down the make table and the cook time is over 6 mins

maybe they should start expanding the restaurant and having more than one make table. maybe they should have a drive-thru side and a restaurant side or two drive-thrus and one restaurant side

We do not hold fried products or lunch items in a simplified breakfast cabinet . Only 6 strips per basket dropped and takes 6:15min to cook. Held for 40min we are required to do food safety before serving lunch . This could be that crew are dropping more than 6 strips which can cause it to be raw as we aren’t doing food safety for over 6 strips.

As a mcdonalds employee, the tenders take about 7 minutes to cook and we can only cook 6 in a basket at a time

the strips are held in the UHC with the rest of the meat. only way they would be raw is if it was cooked on the wrong timer or the basket size was wrong, max 6 per basket. yes it slows the line down.

People don’t understand that at a high volume restaurant a 20 second delay per car in the drive-through could quite literally mean losing about $200,000 per year in revenue between gross sales labor and COGS

How is it complex? It’s literally a tortilla shredded cheese, a chicken strip and sauce. If they cannot figure out how to put that together then they shouldn’t be working at all.

No the cabinet is to keep fully cooked food fresh with steam. It doesn’t cook the food and it’s breakfast only No chicken goes in the cabinet. Sausages, all eggs and burritos are in cabinet only. No chicken goes

I’m willing to pay this price, I understand, inflation, but bring back the original wrap, with the original sauce, and the original chicken, that’s like re-introducing a car that doesn’t look the same as the original car, but calling it the same name, that should be an abomination!
