The correct prayer is performing the five daily prayers on time, in a state of purity, facing the qibla, with the intention and humility present. It begins with the opening takbir (Takbirat al‑ihram), reciting Al‑Fatiha and a surah, then bowing (ruku‘) and prostrating (sujud) with calmness, and sitting for the two (in the three‑rak‘ah and four‑rak‘ah) or one (in Fajr) tashahhud, ending with the tasleem, following the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ: “Pray as you have seen me pray.” Steps of the correct prayer (from takbir to tasleem): Preparation: wudu (ablution), covering the awrah, and facing the qibla.
