And here I am, figuring out how I'm going to pay $89,000 per treatment for MS because we're middle class and don't qualify for any support while fighting my Health Insurance since they don't want to cover my treatments either. So yes they need to start to figure it out just like the rest of us have to.

We’re on Medicaid but we BARELY qualify and I couldn’t afford health insurance without it. It drives me crazy when people take advantage of the system

I pay $1300 a month for medical insurance through my employer. It’s mediocre coverage. The price goes up every year and the coverage goes down every year. I have a middle class income. We can pay our bills but we are not able to afford much else than that. Have not taken a vacation in several years, am not saving money like we should to be able to retire. I’m sure I will work until the day I die. The free rides have to stop. It is not fair or sustainable. I get it if you are truly disabled but come on.

Medicaid is not a career choice. It's there to help you get back on your feet.

Must be nice for free healthcare. I pay a copayment of 25$-50$ each visit. My diabetic drugs are over 150$ a month with insurance. The system is flawed.

other countries have free health care or damn near free compared to our money hungry country. maybe that's what she meant when she said everyone should have free health care.

There is a big difference in ssi and Medicaid. Ssi is for seniors and disabled individuals who have spent there life paying into ssi to us if they become disabled or when they retire. It’s not at all the same. SSI and ssdi is for people who pay taxes into a system for this reason.
