His last 2 years in public school they just stuck in him in a large classroom with a mixture of different ages and abilities and there was no teaching one on one with my child. no Weekly reports from the teacher, no communication. even after I said something to the teacher that I want to know what she is doing in the class with my child all day. she never provided me with one single report or verbal update on my kid in 2 school years. and the 3rd school year, the same school was gonna stick him in the SAME CLASS with the SAME TEACHER...OH HECK NO. I PULLED HIM OUT AND AM TRYING TO TEACH HIM WHEN I can at home. that's not working out either. Too much time is Lost trying to find help. this has to change.

I am exhausted from spending every free moment I can Researching, reading autism articles and listening to podcasts. They all lead to nowhere. Just rabbit holes and wasted time. I can't even find specialist providers for him, like dentists for kids with ASd, not even child psychologists so I could have him evaluated. the school district here is God awful. I would not send my dog to school there. My son came out of the blue one day and said his teacher locked him in a bathroom or closet area in the principle office and screamed at him to shut up. that was just before I was there to pick him up because the school could not control him in class.

my 11 year old son is overweight and taller and heavier and stronger than me now. Im afraid he is going to start hurting me when I give him a rule or task to follow. he is EXTREMELY UNRULY. HE DOES NOT LISTEN TO ME, IS STUBBORN AND DOES TĤINGS HIS WAY. WATCHES WAY TOO MUCH SCREEN TIME, DOES NOT FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND I can not find An ABA therapy provider in our area again this year. He got heavier in his weight because the school teachers started giving him sweets and snacks he likes during school as a reward to get him to do things they ask of him. now he is obese. I pulled him from public school because they are TERRIBLE. they did nothing with my son. Just babysat him and gave him food he wanted. I don't have a clue what a tiny single parent like me can do to physically handle him. other than take self defense classes and lock up objects he could throw. he tries to break the windows in his room. he will say Im gonna cut you mom. it's scary.
