Dalam Islam, takdir terbagi menjadi dua jenis utama, yaitu takdir mubram dan takdir muallaq. Takdir mubram adalah ketentuan Allah SWT yang pasti terjadi dan tidak dapat diubah oleh manusia, contohnya adalah kelahiran dan kematian. Sedangkan takdir muallaq adalah ketentuan Allah SWT yang masih bisa dipengaruhi oleh usaha dan ikhtiar manusia, contohnya adalah rezeki dan kesuksesan.
