but a family can do a vacation in the same area as the ES and they can "coincidentally" bump into each other in the supermarket or something like this, how can they "not allow" a visit? 😂

what if something goes like really wrong and you’re feeling horrible? like will the host parents/agencies actively try to stop parents from seeing children or anything like that? and also this question is kinda random but what do you think of phones in the house as a host parent in general? thanks

I know I’m late on this but what if you are on a semester or a trimester program? I know it’s not long but still. I’m considering this next fall but the down side is I’m a rising senior next year so that’s why I’m only doing a semester.

I wasn't going to get my family to come but a family emergency meant my host family needed to go away for 10 days my area rep or local coordinator cant remember took me in and then when spring break came around my family came and we went to hawaii for the week a lot of jumping through paperwork but it actually made me want everything to go so smoothly and am glad they came.
