He created a smear campaign and it destroyed my career for years. I worked double hard to prove that I wasn’t the version he sold. It destroyed my sense of safety in my most sacred place which was my career and continues to effect me to this day. It’s easy to say do nothing and karma etc but it has real world effects

mine is my mother, unfortunately she has smeared my name to all the family including my eldest son. dad, bro sis in law believe her so dont speak to me. my son speaks but I think he believes her!

I needed to hear this. My narcissist ex from eight years ago (with a wife and kids) still reaches out to every man I date trying to smear me. My therapist told me the right man will be curious and care about my side of the story first.

Trueeeee, I got smeared by one and I did nothing about it n after a while ppl came to me and told me that they r sorry they once believed them. their mask fell off and life was sooo good and I did nothing about it
