There is no greater hubris than thinking one person can act as an “agent of nemea.” The are no hero’s, there is no divine judgement, only normal people acting on their own will. This ancient view is what creates kings, dictators and tyrants. To kill the beast you must become it, but the beast lives on in you, and though you may have the will to wield it for good, you create a vacuum only to be filled with evil in your wake. A true hero must break the cycle, and destroy the monster forever so no person can ever wield that power.
