It’s kind of sad. If a dad plays with his kid, he’s the best father in the entire world. If a mother does it’s meh 🤷♀️she’s just being a mom. If a dad orders a pizza he’s the fun dad. If she does she’s lazy and should have cooked. If a dad goes on a weekend out with the guys (like a fishing trip or whatever), he’s getting the space he needs. If she does? Well then she’s a bad mom leaving her man to take the kids for a few days. The double standards for parenting sucks. Women are held to a much higher standard and men just have to be there. I hope it becomes more equal in the future. But I think it’s heading towards that at least. With the newer generation. We are stating to hold both parents to the same standard

Went on a cruise with my mom and teenage daughter. My husband stayed home with the toddler. All by himself. Ya know. As a Dad. Crazy we are still asking people this.

When I gave birth and got back to work after the 2 months everyone asked where’s the baby I said at home with her Father. Everyone asked if I wasn’t scared 🤔 if I didn’t think my husband was capable I wouldn’t have married him 😂😂😂

my husband took on 4 kids when I had to take our 5th to the hospital for 7 days. I never once doubted if he could or would. He is their father.

I hate it when people act like men arent intelligent human beings. Father's ARE capable of being good fathers. it's just that a majority doesnt want to be present good parents. being a present parent is the only way to be a GOOD parent.

The only time my husband ever panicked while I was away was when our oldest got her first period 😂. He handled it well - sticky side down and do you want ice cream ?? He’s a parent not a babysitter
