My son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes last year. I am still grieving the life we used to live as a family, as a mom without T1D. I am stuck bc I want to hold onto life without insulin, without nighttime lows, without having candy in my purse at all times in the event of an emergency. Without constant fear that my son could die at any moment.

I'm still holding to further my studies not have a matric in age of 33 yrs nd so wished to apply for other positions at work but I am so afraid coz I'm having matric no qualifications but some other people tells me I must apply because I don't know my time and what God has for me 🥺.. It hurts and I don't even know what should I study for but when I grow up, I used to become a flat attendant/ hostel working on a plane but I did not study for tourism at school. 😔
