Right…the grooming speaks to the intent and calculation. The SA is horrific enough but it wasn’t a one time, “wow, I forgot for a second that you are a CHILD”, thing. She engaged in ongoing manipulation and abuse of her role. These charges are just as significant!

I remember when I was a kid this cop would stop by at our house and always bring me stuffed animals and when I was older I asked my mom why he suddenly stopped coming and she told me he was arrested on multiple accounts of SA on minors. It made me sick knowing he was trying to gain our trust 🤢
