Stop hating on the prong collar. It’s to train the dog when dog is trained you can use a different color. It’s used for training that’s it.

Oh sure, let’s keep jerking dogs around with prong collars—because nothing says ‘well-adjusted pup’ like fear and bruised necks. Or… we could use a harness, actually teach the dog what we want, protect their throat, and avoid making them hate walks. But hey, whatever works for you.

prong collars aren’t bad as long as you aren’t using them as their main daily collar and not pulling like crazy it js for little corrections and it’s js discomfort not pain if u pull hard enough for your dog to be in pain from a prong collar its on you

i def love the prong and e i think they’re wonderful tools. i wondering though it with more positive reinforcement ( counter conditioning maybe ) was tried first before going to the e-collar correction? genuinely no hate! just wanna understand more :)
