As long as water added doesn’t exceed water withheld, and the 9” slump is accepted by engineer, then the only reason it would fail would be low breaks of the test cylinders. However, proper consolidation is going to be a concern here so that needs to be monitored

If it is self consolidating concrete it will be fine, they measure the slump by width of the pile not height like normal slump test.

Just blow the concrete full discharge and throttle up just enough to blow it to where you need it
