This wouldn’t work in a private event setting. Many DJs do not take on weddings or corporate events because it is soley dependent on reading the crowd. You are usually given a generic idea of what to play but when at said event you have to see what people of all age groups will enjoy. Open format is something that us older DJs are sought after due to new gen only wanting to play EDM style of events/music.

So no crowd reading… sing-along’s only work well in certain spaces with certain people that are in certain age groups relying on a cookie cutter process never works 100% every single time you may get away with it here and there, but eventually it’ll catch up, but I appreciate your contact. Keep grinding brother.
