This is hard because the husband was always upfront and honest he wanted kids from the very beginning. It’s not his fault she changed her mind. It’s okay that she did, but him wanting to separate doesn’t make him a bad guy here. He thought he married someone on the same page as him.

I always think it's strange when people are OK losing their spouse so they can go find one who wants kids. It makes it feel like the entire relationship was just to find a breeder, not because you actually love the person.

I think the sad part is that he gave her an option to leave but she chose to stay. It's fine that she changed her mind but in situations like these you can't have your cake and eat it to. Kids aren't A deal breaker they're THE deal breaker.
