This is bad yes. But this is what separates ford and Toyota from Chevy and Kia. Ford and Toyota are fixing it on their dime. Chevy and Kia address nothing and only fix stuff after it goes to class action.

Ford may have a lot of recalls, but you have to keep in mind that they are at least recalling. Some manufacturers (GM) refuses to recall despite thousands of owners reporting the same issues on the same models
