As a Virginia Class sailor, I have always been told that Virginias are meant to be the cost effective version of a Seawolf. Never thought of the F-22/F-35 comparison, but it definitely fits. And don't forget about the Block V boats that are getting put on the ways here soon too, they add more missile space as well.
