here's a fun fact the blade that Louise uses to decapitate himself was only sharp enough to cut through fish bone and skin which is very brittle which means the blades aren't that sharp which meant Louise would of bled out to death instead of a clean decapitation

I played this game when I worked at a potato processing plant, and as someone who would dissociate and daydream frequently on the floor this stuck in my head for the ENTIRE rest of the time I worked there anytime I had to get close to any of the big machinery or conveyors I'd start thinking about it, scared me so fucking bad

Edith Finch is so gut wrenching. You know going into these stories the characters fates and it makes it so much worse how your only option is to continue playing. You can’t stop the swing, you can’t turn off the tub, and you can’t walk away. It almost feels like we’re the curse sending them to their early grave

Lewis story hurts bc all I can think about is my cousin. She has schizophrenia, autism, & depression, & I FEAR she would go down this path since she's creative yet daydreams. If she finds herself stuck someplace doing something monotonous...would this happen to her? 😖😭
