Catholics believe the Pope is a shepherd and servant leader who guides the Church in faithfulness to Jesus. Well that’s not true coz Jesus the rest of the dicisples in Mathew 18 v18. Now there’s no pope in the bible, “So God has appointed and placed in the church [for His own use]: first apostles [chosen by Christ], second prophets [those who foretell the future, those who speak a new message from God to the people], third teachers, then those who work miracles, then those with the gifts of healings, the helpers, the administrators, and speakers in various kinds of [unknown] tongues.” 1 Corinthians 12 : 28 AMP

What interesting is that scripture makes a point that Satan wants the Body of Moses; likewise it also makes a point that Satan wants Peter too. The OT authroity was referred to as “The Chair of Moses” while in Our Lords time (AD) we refer to the Papal authority as the Chair of Peter.

Digging the Scriptures :
According to Revelation the beast, whoever it is, will speak blasphemous words for 1260 days (prophetically 1 day = 1year) so for 1260 years. In 538A.D the general Belisaurius of emperor Justinian enters Rome and proclaims the Pope the biggest of all bishops so middle ages begin. In 1798A.D. general Bertie of Napoleon takes the Pope captive and ends the middle ages. Do the math friend.....1798-538 = ???? equals to 1260 years....get out of Babylon quickly. All the last plagues are for them and whoever supports them

Sorry but the Catolic view of this is the ONLY thing that makes sense. Jesus is speaking directly to Peter "YOU" He makes a wordplay with Peter’s name, which means "rock" He says "I will give YOU the keys" so not to everyone, but to one person. Then he gives Peter a special responsibility, to "bind and loose", which in Jewish tradition meant deciding what was allowed or not, or what was right or wrong.
