The thing is that, a lot of people have a family where everyone works. My spouse and I both work full time jobs. The only real time I have to do cooking is the weekend and believe me, you don’t want my husbands cooking.

I also think it’s a wonderful creative outlet. I love coming home with an urge to make something and just look at my fridge and pantry and say “I can make something with those canned tomatoes” and go from there. It’s so rewarding to be able to make something myself and get compliments for what I make all the time from my friends and family! But importantly make what feels right

The Omnivores Delima by him is a great read! So is Animal Plant Miracle by Kingsolver. Both say: eat good food, mostly plants and make it yourself using things as locally as possible.
