@amys.batch.kitchen: Replying to @craftytrace 1. Warm 500ml of milk to around 35C (bath water temperature) and stir in 16g yeast. 2. Set aside until frothy (around 5 minutes). 3. In a bowl mix 1kg flour, 70g sugar and pinch of salt. 4. Add 4 eggs, 3 tsp vanilla and the milk mix. 5. Knead for 5 minutes and add 500g butter gradually. 6. Cover and rise for 1 to 2 hours. 7. Mix in 300g pearl sugar (I actually use Demerara sugar now as it works well). 8. Tear off pieces of dough and cook in waffle maker for around 3 minutes each.
