people can't drink the water because who knows what toxins are in the sludge, people can't sleep because of the noise, there's a higher level of pollution in those places and people just feel so helpless. 😩

Yes! I'm so glad that you didn't propose a general anti-AI sentiment since that narrative is effectively disempowering. Developing regenerative technological infrastructure that offers an alternative in a way that is ecologically responsible and fundamentally empowering to the people and that especially lifts up the most marginalized in society is absolutely vital. I believe if enough people get together and pool their resources we could create an ecoconscious cooperative data center that defies the extractive logic of capital empowering the people rather than solely generating profit. The result of such a project situated within the Imperial core, more than just ensuring the wealth and health of community, could lead to rupture and effectively reorient the structures of power from within. We could very possibly enact real socialism by doing this.
