any Oregonian will tell you it stinks and you're literally paying to support the sea lions and maintain the area. it's not at all guaranteed to see any sea lions, if you want to see them go to the harbor, and it's free

Did you pop over to Heceta Head Lighthouse? If you’re there at low tide you can see starfish in the tide pools at devils elbow (the beach below). ☺️
