I am a nurse at the hospital where the surgery took place. Travis was literally changing Scott's bandages, cleaning the bed pan, he also did part of the procedure. everyone should have a man like him!!!

people don't realize she used to have an ED... and it never really goes away. so having someone there who is paying attention and making sure you eat, whether that's a home cooked meal or carry out, is so super important.

From someone who had a ED… no, it may not be a grand gesture but it shows us they are paying attention and actually care about us being healthy.. so yes. Props for this because most people don’t care enough to ensure you eat

As someone who has has dealt with disordered eating this would mean more to me than I can say. Feeling seen and cared for in that way would speak louder than the grandest of gestures

Everyone saying this is the bare minimum has never been in the situation where you’re terrified for the life of a loved one… especially when you have an ED… stress triggers relapses… and even when you don’t have one you forget to eat from stress
