literally just did a torque converter on one. you can do the starter without pulling mount. and uou can get pass bell housing bolt out without pulling cat.

Leave starter, motor mount, & cat installed. Just need a long 18 mm ratchet wrench for converter bolts

Yea on the 3.6 colorados I just started pulling the oil pan to get the converter bolts much easier

BRO! I work for Toyota as a tech. I did a safety check on one and got stuck doing the transmission. What an absolute nightmare. That said motor mount did not want to come out btw.

Ive worked on these a couple times, you can sneak out the starter w/o removing the bracket for mount or lifting the engine. Its tricky but itll save you time. On .4 seconds, theres a stud/nut. Remove those and on the other end of that bracket. You’ll fight it but its possible w/o removing mount/bracket

if you take a burr bit you can slave a little off the mount and get it out i have done a ton of these
