@elizabethhomen1: If you are transitioning your toddler out of a crib and into a bed, I would strongly recommend getting a floor bed! I chose to get feet on mine so that it was slightly raised, but you can also get it without feet so that it sits directly on the floor! We got ours in the full sized bed, but you can get them in a lot of different sizes. We wanted to do a full that way his bed is big enough for us to fit in there too! This has made the transition really easy for us because then we can stay with him until he is ready!
